Entry to Side Museum costs €5 for foreign visitors, or €10 with the combined ticket for the Side archaeological site. The museum is open every day 08:30–21:00, and the ticket office closes at 20:30. For Turkish citizens the Müzekart is valid.
Side Museum occupies a Roman bath from the 2nd century AD, opposite the ancient agora in the middle of the old town. The building was restored between 1959 and 1961 and turned into a museum — the first in Turkey to open in a village, as Side then was.
Most of the collection comes from the Side excavations led by Arif Müfid Mansel between 1946 and 1966: statues, portrait heads, relief sarcophagi, grave stelae, inscriptions in Greek and in the local Sidetic language, and coins from Side and other Pamphylian and Pisidian cities. More architectural pieces stand in the garden.

How do I get to Side Museum?
The museum stands on Liman Caddesi inside the ancient city of Side, a few minutes’ walk from the theatre. The old town is car-free: leave the car at the car park by the entrance and walk in, or take the Side–Manavgat dolmuş to the Side stop.
Tips for visiting Side Museum
- Open until 21:00, the museum is a good late-afternoon visit when the ruins outside are too hot.
- The combined €10 ticket also covers the Side archaeological site.
- Do not skip the garden — many of the largest reliefs and architectural pieces are displayed outdoors.
