The Olympos Teleferik runs from a base station at 726 m near Beycik to the 2,365 m summit of Mount Tahtalı, known in antiquity as Mount Olympos. The cabins cover one of the longest single-span lines in the world in about ten minutes, and as you rise the pine forest gives way first to scrub and then to bare rock.
At the top there is a panoramic terrace, a restaurant and a cafeteria; on a clear day you can pick out Kemer, Phaselis, the Gulf of Antalya and the Lycian coast to the west. The summit is also one of Turkey's best-known paragliding launch sites. Temperatures run about 15 °C lower than at the coast and the wind is sharp even in mid-August.

How to Get There
The base station is about 50 km from Antalya and 25 km from Kemer; leave the D400 at the Beycik turn-off before Tekirova and follow the mountain road. Allow around two hours from Side and Manavgat. Package tours with hotel transfers run from Kemer and Antalya, while independent visitors can use the free car park at the base station.

- Bring a fleece or windproof even in summer — it is about 15 °C colder at the top.
