A return ticket on the Alanya cable car costs 620 TL for foreign visitors (about €11), and the line runs from 09:30 to 23:00. Tickets are sold only at the ticket offices of the two stations, Damlataş and Kale — there is no online sale — and they are valid for the whole day of purchase.
The Alanya Teleferik links the Damlataş station, right by Cleopatra Beach, with the Kale station on the castle hill. It is a detachable gondola: 14 cabins for eight people each, with a cabin arriving every 20 seconds, so queues move quickly even in summer.
The ride saves the steep 45–60-minute walk up to the castle and gives you the whole sweep of Cleopatra Beach below. Because a ticket is valid all day, you can ride up, explore the castle quarters on foot and come back down whenever you like.

How do I get to Alanya Cable Car?
The lower station stands next to Damlataş Cave on Güzelyalı Caddesi, a short walk from the centre of Alanya. From Side it is 65 km on the road network, about 50 minutes by car; public car parks are nearby, and the Alanya city buses stop on the seafront road.
Tips for visiting Alanya Cable Car
- Tickets are valid for the whole day: ride up in the morning and come down after sunset.
- Damlataş Cave and the Alanya Museum are on the same square as the lower station — combine all three.
- One-way tickets are also sold if you prefer to walk down through the castle quarters.
