Dim Cave Alanya — Entrance Fee & Tips 2026
Show cave 11 km from Alanya: a 360 m gallery of dripstones ending at a small underground lake.
Entry to Dim Cave costs 300 TL for adults (about €5) and 150 TL for children aged 7–12; under-7s go free. From June to September the cave is open 09:00–19:00 (shorter hours in the other months), and you must enter at least 30 minutes before closing. The Museum Card is not valid here.
Dim Mağarası lies 232 m above sea level on the western slope of Cebel Reis mountain, 11 km from Alanya. Cavers surveyed it in 1986, and in September 1998 it opened as the first cave in Turkey developed for tourism by a private company.
The walkway follows a horizontal gallery 360 m long and 10–15 m wide and high, lined with stalactites and stalagmites that are still growing in places. At the end, 17 m below the entrance, lies a small lake with about 200 m² of water surface.

How do I get to Dim Cave?
The cave is 14 km from the centre of Alanya on the road network, about 20 minutes by car or taxi; according to the operator it can be reached on paved roads via Kestel, the Dim Çayı valley or Tosmur. From Side it is 79 km, just over an hour.
Tips for visiting Dim Cave
- The path has steps and can be damp — wear shoes with grip.
- The Museum Card (Müzekart) is not accepted, as the cave is privately run.
- Combine the visit with lunch at one of the riverside restaurants in the Dim Çayı valley below.
